Kieran is heading home from the national finals, and his achievements deserve special recognition. Just a week ago, an unexpected incident forced him to miss his control competition in Nottingham and the entire last week of training preparation for the national finals.
Despite these significant challenges, Kieran made the courageous decision to participate in the Men's Gymnastics UK Finals, proudly representing the West Midlands region and his club, JS Gymnastics in Evesham, Worcestershire, where he trains every day and is a dedicated member of the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics squad.
Competing in the U11 (Level 3), this was the most important and prestigious competition for his age group in the UK . Originally aiming to compete in all seven events, Kieran’s plans were adjusted due to hip pain, limiting him to six events. Throughout the competition, the effects of his injury were evident—his leg would drop during certain elements, beyond his control. Despite this, Kieran demonstrated incredible determination and skill.
His efforts paid off as he secured 5th place on the pommel horse, placing him among the top gymnasts in Great Britain.

Kieran’s performance is a testament to his resilience and passion for gymnastics. It’s inspiring to imagine what he could have achieved under different circumstances, without the setback and pain. His achievements this weekend are a powerful reminder of his potential and dedication.
We are immensely proud of Kieran’s strength and perseverance, and we can't wait to see what he will accomplish next.
Stay tuned for more updates on his journey and progress!
